I could not agree more. Early one, we were told to never judge because we don't know what the other person is going thru. That was the message we were given but what we are told and what we are taught are two totally separate things. Yes, we were told this but actions are what we learned. The same people that preached this were also the ones that cared more about other people's perception of them, us and we. So, it's something that I, and I am sure, struggle with on a daily. Most things, we are unable to turn a blind to because its just too weird but if we could all learn to just be a bit more passive and nonjudgmental about the simple things we see as different but aren't posing a risk or danger to us or to others, we'd definitely live in a more loving, nurturing and accepting world where we can be free to be ourselves without fear of harm in any way. I love this post and couldn't help but comment.

Just like you, I wear many hats. I'm a mom, a teacher, a friend, a daughter, a sister, and a writer. I choose to laugh (and talk... and write) about my problems because crying takes too much time. CategoriesArchives
